The net is bombarded with various search engine optimization strategies. Keyword analysis is one strategy that is directed towards finding out the hidden keywords which would help in increasing sales conversion ratio. The main idea behind keyword analysis is to figure out or to look for the right keywords that would effectively increase search engine optimization. Key word analysis would also help web owners in advertising in adwords as well as in other search engine programs that would further increase quality traffic to their web sites. Keyword analysis is one important stride in developing a web page that is sure to have a good search engine ranking.
Keyword analysis entails for keyword research which is a process involve in the generation of keywords. Just how do we generate keywords? The keyword that is gong to be used or generated will depend on the business or the industry and would also depend on the services provided by the business. Keywords are generated by means of the wordtracker as well as other keyword generating tools. The highly searched keyword meaning high in count found in the wordtracker will then be chosen to be used as the keyword.
However, another step is still required like comparing these keywords across keyword analysis tools in order to remove some of the commonly repeated keywords. Also make certain that your chosen keyword is competitive, you can check its competitiveness by checking on just how many times it appears every time it is searched on the web. After you have checked your keyword you may now use it either for your search engine optimization or for keywords to use in advertising your site.
A right choice of keyword will generate at least 90% traffic to your web site and will guarantee a google’s phrase match of your selected keyword. The keyword that you’ve chosen will provide you with the basis of coming up with the various combinations that would enable your web site to be searched on in various search engines like google.
Google searches compose almost sixty percent of the total searches compared to Msn search which only comprises twelve and one-half percent. This is also the reason why most web sites are fighting over page rankings in google.

I remember when I created my first web site. I designed it, published it and then waited expectantly for Google to list it in their page rankings. Of course, I didn’t expect to be up at the top of the listings but I did think I would be there somewhere.
After several days the disappointment began to set in. I had a great web site but no one was going to see it because Google wasn’t including me in their listings! All that work for nothing. So I started looking around the net, trying to find out why I wasn’t being listed. It was now that I discovered that it can take Google up to 8 months to include your site on their search engine. This was a devastating blow. I couldn’t wait 8 months before people saw my web site!
My next plan of action was to get some traffic to my web site, maybe that would help get me noticed. I designed a banner free of charge from a site on the web, this was really easy, even as a beginner it was done in 5 minutes. I then bought some banner impressions from a seller on ebay. Typically this involved displaying your banner 1,000,000 for a fee of say $4.99. So I signed up for this and expected the traffic to come flying to my site. Well, if I got 1 person clicking on my banner from every 1000 times the banner was displayed I was lucky. And then there was the people that just view the banners in order to get paid. When I looked at where the hits were coming from it was evident that most of them were coming from China and other non-English speaking countries.
So, having discovered that paid for banner advertising does not work, I finally discovered how to get noticed by Google….
Back-links. Yes, that was the secret. What are back-links? There are other web sites that have a link to your site on them. Google determines the popularity of your site by how many other sites link to it. So how do you get back links? You can list your site in the free directories that proliferate the web, but these are low quality links.
The best way of getting links is to create your own links by writing an article like this. There are dozens of article directories on the net, you submit your article, simply ensure you include a link to your web site and hey presto, you have created a back link to your site. Google will take notice and you will move up the search rankings. The more articles you submit, the more popular Google will think your site is.
Article directories are free to use and can also be a good way of advertising your site. Write about a subject that relates to your site, people see you have some expert knowledge on the subject and follow the link through to your site.

A free traffic exchange offers webmasters the ability to promote their websites or affiliate marketing campaigns for free, or at very low cost. The idea is to surf around other members websites, and for each viewing, you get so many of your own URLs and banners added into the rotation for other members to view. There are hundreds, if not thousands of free traffic exchanges online today. The trick is to find the ones that work best for you. Not all free traffic exchanges are created equal and the most active ones are not necessarily the best ones for your needs.
Free traffic exchanges are a great marketing tool for a variety of reasons. The most obvious reason is that you get lots of people looking, and hopefully clicking on your website or promotional pages. But there are hidden benefits to free traffic exchanges you may not have even considered.
Search engines love free traffic exchanges because of all the incoming and outgoing links they generate. Plus the rapidly changing content is another reason the search bots love these things. Exchanges that have more content also generate a higher pagerank, and therefore more traffic, and increased memberships. The key is to find exchanges that are very active and have lots of members. The more members they have, the more potential customers you get looking at your offer and your chances for sales conversions are that much better. But bigger isn’t always better.
Some free traffic exchanges may convert sales like crazy for one person, and be a complete waste of time for another. If everyone were promoting the same website or affiliate program is the same traffic exchange for example, then chances are you would not make many sales. Even if you were promoting the #1 thing on the internet, if everyone promoted the same program, your chances are much lower that someone will purchase through your website or link to make you any money. Also, when people see the same ad over and over again, they get desensitized to it. Don’t fall into this trap. It’s one thing to try and sell a very popular product/service/ebook etc, but it’s another thing when a million other people are trying to do it too. Competition is a good thing, because it validates your market, but too much competition is tough and it’s time to move on to something else.
We all know clicking on ads in a free traffic exchange can be very boring, monotonous and can take a lot of time. That’s why you need to make the best of your opportunity or you will just be wasting a lot of your time and effort on something that just isn’t working. If you have your own niche website, then you already differentiated yourself from the pack. If you are an affiliate marketer, then you need to find products/services that everyone else isn’t promoting, especially within that particular traffic exchange.
One way to use free traffic exchanges to your advantage is to join a few at first, and see if your sales pick up. If your sales aren’t doing well, then test out a few more. When you do find a few traffic exchanges that appear to be generating sales for you, then narrow those down until you find the one, or two that are working. Now concentrate your efforts on those because they’re the ones you want. At least for now anyway. Things may change, so keep an eye on your campaigns and if sales seem to be falling off, then it might be time to change your offer or find another traffic exchange that could pick your profits up again.
As I mentioned, your individual promotion is everything. If you’re trying to promote something everyone else is, I don’t care what traffic exchange service you’re using, your sales conversions are going to be very low, or nothing at all. You cannot always blame the exchange. Sometimes you have to look at yourself and think if you’re doing all you can to make sales.
If you’re going to be using multiple free traffic exchanges, and I recommend that you do, your first priority should be to pick up a multi-tab web browser. Many of these browsers are free and run on PCs and MACs. The tabs feature allows you to have one web browser open with multiple tabs each going to a separate website. You could easily put 5 or 6 of your free exchange sites in these tabs, and earn credits for all of them at the same time. So instead of surfing for 1/2 an hour or an hour earning 200 hits for one exchange, you could earn 200 hits for 5 exchanges in the same amount of time. This is a huge time saver and multiplies your earned hits by 5X or 6X.
Getting free traffic to your website is a lot of work. If you don’t have the money to spend on full blown PPC (pay-per-click) campaigns like Google AdWords, free traffic exchanges are a great way to get the traffic you need.

OK boys and girls. Today we’re having a pop quiz.
I heard that groan. Don’t worry. This will be over in a matter of seconds.
Q1: “__________” is King.
Q2: Link “____________” and link “____________” matter oodles to Google.
The answers are provided in the following…
Are you hearing a lot of talk from marketers about writing and submitting artic|es to art:cle directories and other ezine publishers? I knew you were. There’s been a glut of articles on writing articles. For good reason.
Now I haven’t been actively writing and submitting articles until just recently, but the effects have been noticeable. So, what have I noticed?
In the last 4 weeks, I submitted three artic|es to a broad network of article directories and announcement groups. Yes, I did take one week off. So call me a slacker. The three article titles that I submitted were:
“How to Put Your Bookmark on Top Every Time.”
“When a Customer Has Done Everything to Get Your Goat”
“We’ll fix that later…”
I’m going to report the following numbers in real time as I’m writing this article. This relates to “Q2″ above. You can do this too because I’ll describe each step exactly. It’s real simple.
1) Go to http://www.google.com 2) Type the exact article title for each of the following titles and put it inside of quotation marks. (The quotation marks force Google to look for the exact phrase.) 3) Click the “Google Search” button, and… 3) Be am@zed.
Google reports:
“How to Put Your Bookmark on Top Every Time” - Indexed on 5,820 pages
“When a Customer Has Done Everything to Get Your Goat” - Indexed on 62 pages
“We’ll fix that later…” - Indexed on 554 pages
Now, am I going to tell you that in 3 weeks time I’ve managed to generate 6,436 inbound links to my website? Not. Submitting artic|es doesn’t do those kinds of miracles, but my artic|es are definitely out there for other webmasters and ezine publishers to use.
Unique visitor count to GoThrive.com has double since starting my article submissions, and as the artic|es get picked up and published, the inbound links will continue to materialize with time. Not a bad investment of time since the entire process of writing the article and submitting it takes no more than one hour per week.
Inbound links pointing to your website are a very good thing to have. This is part 1 answer to question 2 above.
Link Popularity.
The second part of the answer to question 2 above is equally important. You see, it’s not just how many inbound links are out there voting for your site, but it’s also important that they’re voting for the right thing.
Link Reputation.
Let’s say you have a website that promotes running shoes, and you write an article on the wonderful benefits of odor eaters. When you write your article, you’ll have the opportunity to include a resource box at the end of your article and this is where you can capitalize on your chance to build link reputation.
The idea behind “link reputation” is that the inbound links use keywords in the text that match the theme of the page to which the link is pointing.
One more time nice and slow. I don’t want you to miss this.
*** The idea behind “link reputation”… *** is that the inbound links use keywords in the text *** that match the theme of the page *** to which the link is pointing.
This is a fundamental SEO principle that you should keep in mind not only when writing a resource box for an article, but also when you’re designing your web pages.
So, to do this right, you’ll want your odor eater article’s resource box to have an odor eater keyword-laden link pointing to an odor eater page on your running shoes website. Does that make sense?
As the article’s author you’re in the perfect position to get the second part of the linking equation just right.
~ You decide what your resource box will say. ~ You decide what keywords are used in the link pointing to your website. ~ And you decide which page the link is directed to.
2 down. 1 to go.
Now for Q1. “Content is King.” There. I said it. There’s no disputing that all of the major search engines crave content. Enter stage left, Mr. Article Author.
If you’re writing artic|es and submitting them to article directories, you also need to be posting those artic|es on your 0wn website. When you do so, add about 20% unique content to your webpage so that it’s not exactly like every other webpage that’s been uploaded to the net. Search engines don’t like to see a lot of duplicate content, so take this little extra step to make sure that your page is unique.
Let’s review…
Q1: “_____________” is King.
A1: “C_o_n_t_e_n_t” is King.
Q2: Link “___________________” and link “___________________” matter oodles to Google.
A2: Link “P_o_p_u_l_a_r_i_t_y” and link “r_e_p_u_t_a_t_i_o_n” matter oodles to Google.
The service that I’ve been using for article submissions is SubmitYourArticle.com (http://www.submityourarticle.com), and I’ve got to say that I love it. I make one submission using SubmitYourArticle.com and my article is automatically submitted to an additional 22 article directories with only one click of the mouse. They offer a number of cool tools and if you’re looking for content for your 0wn website, it’s a terrific place to start.
Start today by casting a vote for your own website. Nobody will mind. In fact, you’ll find that there are large masses of ezine publishers and webmasters who’d be glad to vote for your website too.

So, you’ve set up your first website in the hope that you can attract more visitors to your business. You’ve worked a few months planning, designing, developing and paying for a great web host. All that remains to be done is for you to step back, and marvel at your creation, and wait for the visitors to come gushing in.
And so you, wait - and wait, and wait, and wait.
But the visitors don’t come gushing in. Your store is open, but the customers are not there. Your beautiful website just sits there while the dust gathers at its feet.
You don’t get it.
Suddenly you decide to Google your website to see if punching in the keywords for search will yield any results. Nada.
Ooops, wait. There it is, at page 99999 of the results page.
You begin to see the big problem.
Your beautiful site is worthless if people can’t find it. People can’t find it if it doesn’t get listed prominently on the internet.
There are billions of web users who are desperately searching for their needs. Their needs may actually be the service or product you are offering. How can direct all these people to your website?
Well, the good news is, there is hope. The amazing truth of the internet is that your company, no matter how small or large has a chance at generating huge amounts of traffic if you learn a few neat tricks of traffic generation.
Get Inside the Engine
If you want traffic to come crashing at your door, you need to know how internet users learn of the sites that interest them. There are quite a few ways how one learns of websites of interest: print ads, spot ads, referrals from friends, and others. But the most important and widely used avenue is the search engine.
Search engines like Google, Yahoo search, and MSN search all rely on a simple procedure. They have special ’spiders’ that crawl all over the web visiting sites to index them and collect data about them. The spiders then use this data in generating results of any number of search queries.
To rank highly in the results page a normal site will have to wait a few months or so. But you can accelerate that rise by following the following tips.
Turn Your Site to Gold
If you want your site to immediately hit the top spot at the search results page you need to know what attracts the search engines’ spiders the most.
1. Keywords
These spiders are constant looking for the content of these pages. If your website contains juicy keywords that directly relate to your business. The chances of having your site increase in popularity are better. You can put these keywords in either your
For example, a site that sells cars should have the following words saturating his page: car, auto, sales, automobile, van, SUV, truck, and so on.
2. Index Your Pages
Spiders move from site to site, and from page to page by following the links that are listed in every page they visit. If you have pages that are not listed in your index page, there is a big possibility that the spiders will miss those pages. So make sure all your links are, as much as possible, at the index page. If not, at least make sure there is a direct and easy path from the index page to every page in your site.
It also helps if you have other sites whose links point to you. So get all your friends who have good sites up to show a link that leads to your site.
3. Optimize your content
Remember rule number1? Keywords have a great impact on a web site’s popularity. However, spiders are also aware that some sites abuse the use of keywords. And they know how to act accordingly. Instead of getting a better ranking, you might find your ranking falling instead.
You could add more and better content to your site. This allows you to increase the keyword density in your website without abusing any search engine rules. Examples of this would be to link tutorials, essays, and other material to your site. If these materials are keyword rich, that would increase the ranking of your web site.
4. Paid Advertisements and Directories.
You could also have your site advertised by Google or have it listed on the Yahoo directory. It may cost you money, but it does accelerate your rise to prominence faster.
Try Mixing Them Up
Mix and match these various strategies according to your needs and your capabilities. Soon enough, you will find your website up there among the most popular in the land. And as for the traffic? You’ll have so much traffic you won’t have time to close your gates.
Well, it is not that easy, there’s a bit of work involved.
But the fact is creating a killer, keyword rich, theme based content site will get you truckloads of lazer targeted traffic.
Such sites stand well on search engines and attract truckloads of targeted traffic from 100s of keyword searches on the search engines.
The fact is, search engines love such sites focused on a particular theme with killer content.
While creating a killer minisite may tend to be extremely easy and quick, it does involve some initial efforts to create a quality content rich site and take it off the ground.
The system involves…
1. Choosing a topic of your interest.
2. Research demand and competition.
3. Selecting high demand, low competition keywords.
4. Creating 1 page for each keyword with quality content.
5. Linking them all together, tightly focusing on one theme.
6. Getting them indexed in search engines.
7. Increasing link popularity.
8. And trying hard till you get top rankings for your main keywords.
Once you apply this system, it takes some time for your site to get good rankings and that depends on the competition of your niche.
But once your 50+ page site gets completely indexed, the pages start appearing on 100s of search terms, your site achieves high link popularity status and high page rank score from Google, you will see some serious traffic pouring in.
And this is something amazing…
1. The traffic will be lazer targeted. Visitors will visit your site with an open mindset as they have searched for a particular keyword on the search engine, read your search engine listing and have clicked it to visit your site, showing a high amount of interest in your niche.
2. The traffic will be consistent and steady. It will be continuous, non-stop traffic pouring into your site 24/7.
3. And the best part is, the traffic will be absolutely FREE. And this free quality traffic that your site will receive from search engines will be far more better than the traffic you receive with paid promotion tactics.
You can’t get a better deal.
Using this simple content site system you can sell your own products, affiliate products, resell right products or make autopilot adsense income.
No matter what you do, start applying this system today to churn out unlimited profits in future.

Everything being equal, more traffic to your website translates into more sales. Hence you read a lot lately about ways to generate more traffic to your website.
I’d like to begin by saying that more traffic does not necessarily equal more sales. Your website can attract tons of traffic for the freebies and if it is not conducive to making sales, you will probably not make more sales. Being conducive to more sales means offering quality, needed products at a good price, and making it easy to order these products. This point must always be kept in mind.
Everything is not usually equal - especially if you are offering the same affiliate products as everyone else. The one thing that distinguishes your site from all the others is the relationship you have with your site visitors. Given the chance to buy the same product from hundreds of sites, most people will buy from someone they know, trust, and feel some type of connection with. This is true for me and I am sure it is true for most of you. So part of your focus everyday must be on being responsive to customers reaching out to you. They reach out with questions, comments, requests for help, and other notes. If you are not responding promptly to these little notes you are missing a very big part of the picture.
Assuming you are busy building relationships with your current customer-base, then your next focus should be on attracting new visitors to your website. Techniques that have proven themselves to me include ezine ads, signature files, banner exchanges, links exchanges, notices on bulletin boards, news and discussion group postings and ezine articles. You should be using as many of these as practical.
Targeted ezine ads work great. However, you must constantly refine and test your ads. Change the headline and see what the difference in response rate is. It is a never-ending process of improving and refining. However, when you get an ad that works great, be very slow to change it.
Banner exchanges are the same - you must constantly work to improve your banner. A good attention grabbing banner with a compelling message will produce click-thrus. An animated banner will generally attract more attention, and with the right message will compel the reader to click on it. With banners - the old warning - no more than 2 banners per page. More than this will probably slow the page down and you won’t benefit from the click- thrus since the surfer won’t wait for your page to finish loading.
I also exchange a few links from time to time. After all - your visitor is going to eventually leave, so you may as well trade traffic with complimentary websites. Just make sure that the trade benefits both webmasters, and your visitors. Trading links with a disreputable or questionable site harms longterm customer relationships.
While on links, free-for-all links pages also produce traffic to your website although not the flood that many hope for. The key here is to post to as many sites as possible since it is a numbers game. For this reason, I recommend using automatic submission software or programs such as linkomatic. The drawback with posting to hundreds or thousands of free-for-all links pages is that many of them will send you an acknowledgement message. To handle this flood of email, I recommend having an email address that you use just for this purpose. That way, you can sort through these emails at your leisure. Some of them do contain worthwhile offers.
Posting to discussion groups and newsgroups pulls in some traffic too. The key is to offer helpful information and then a signature file with a compelling teaser. Vary your signature file until you find one that works. Think of your signature file just as you do any other headline. It should tell the customer what benefits he will gain from clicking through to your website.
The final method of driving traffic to your website that I will touch upon is writing ezine articles. It’s no secret that a well-written ezine article establishes your experise and can generate many visits. Getting an article published in one of the larger ezines will generate hundreds of quality visitors. Many of these will bookmark your site and become repeat visitors. This is what you are really aiming for. Look for a topic that you do not feel is adequately explained. Do some research and write an article explaining it better. You have produced a very valuable article and your readers notice this. Readers notice the difference in the quality of articles, and hence your level of expertise.
Do all of the above things and your will increase traffic to your website. Keep in touch and work to build relationships with new and repeat visitors. Work to constantly refine your website and you should see a steady increase in sales. It is a process of gradually building up steam - while constantly improving.

Online marketing is an area where you can find a LOT of hype. Make a quick search at Google for ‘buy hits’, ‘ad blaster’ or ‘email blaster’ and you’ll have an idea how wide those big void promises of getting ‘automatic’ traffic to your website. But it’s not a real traffic…
By real traffic I refer to traffic that has a great potential to convert to either sales, joining the business opportunity you promote, joining your newsletter or any other purpose you might have. This IS the bottom line of your business…
As an online business owner, especially of you are building it on a part time basis, you would be very tempted to ’skyrocket’ your business easily and ‘without efforts’ as those ads implies. Just know this:
YES… you will submit your ad to thousands of websites. And YES… you would get plenty of hits, however, your conversion ratio (how many sales or signups you would gain out of this traffic) will be on a severe diet!
Let’s look at some examples to clarify why this kind of marketing is NOT worth your time or your money:
1. Ad Blasters
First, most of the people visiting free classified sites are doing so just to place their ad, and not to view others ads.
Secondly, those ad blasters made many of those sites absolutely useless!
Think about it for a second: Let’s say there are ten people (only) using that database of 10,000 or so classified sites (and I’m sure they share the same sites even if they are using different ad blasters). Each makes an automatic submission of 10 or more copies of the same ad to a single category (that’s one of the so called ‘features’ in those blasters - multiple submission of your ad copy to each category). What do you think will happen?
The classified site becomes overloaded with the same ad, over and over again in every category, AND, those blasters will ‘compete’ to knock the ads of each other down the list! It would be also useless for anyone who wants to manually submit ads to those sites.
2. Email Blasters
Email marketing is a great way to promote your products or your business opportunity. With that said, email marketing is all about building a relationship with your mailing list, and NOT sending emails to people who didn’t request information from you!
First, I would doubt if anyone has a legal mailing list of 50 or so million people that have asked for more information.
Secondly, sending email to millions who did NOT ask YOU for more information is considered spamming, and it will ruin your credibility, which is a very important key for a successful online business.
3. Automatic ‘Traffic For Clicks’ Software
Traffic for clicks are deals where you get traffic for every website or ad that you view. The more websites you browse, the more credit you’ll get, which means the more your own website will be displayed to others using the same service.
I have noticed an ad for a software that automatically browses others websites, so you would get the credit without having to do anything… I laughed out loud after giving it some thought, here’s why…
Let’s assume you buy such software, you activate it and go to sleep. The software starts browsing others websites, and you get a HUGE credit. Meanwhile, someone else is using a similar software, and HIS software is browsing YOUR website, and vice versa!
So you get tons of hits, your web statistics will show an amazing rate of visitors. However, the ‘people’ visiting your website, are actually a small ‘piece’ of software
I could go on and give more examples. The saying “it sounds too good to be true” applies here! While some of those tools might have worked for some (probably the first guys who laid their hand on them), they do NOT build a solid base for a successful online business.
To avoid any of those hypes, just use your common sense, ask your self a simple question: If you knew a quick way to drive millions to your websites instantly and without some efforts, would you give that secret away?!

Web site traffic promotion is central to the success of any
online business. Without effective web site traffic promotion, an
internet business will literally perish in a matter of no time
just as a retail storefront would go out of business without
customers walking through their doors. An internet business is as
dependent on web site traffic promotion as a traditional retail
outlet is dependent on attracting customers to visit their place
of business. Though traditional advertising and promotion
techniques are applicable to internet business, there are some
web site traffic promotion techniques that are unique to online
ventures.
Some of the most beneficial web site traffic promotion methods
for an online business are:
1. Search engine marketing
2. Pay per click search engine advertising
3. Linking campaigns and link exchanges with relevant websites

Some of these web site traffic promotion techniques are very
basic, easy and inexpensive while others are more complicated, of
course with varying costs. When you first get started in an
internet business, it is beneficial to tackle the easy tasks of
web site traffic promotion first. If you can get traffic coming
to your site and convert those visitors to buyers, you will then
have funds to spend on more expensive web site traffic promotion
techniques, or even to hire a web site traffic promotion expert
to provide consulting and web site traffic promotion services
that have the potential of taking your website to new levels in
terms of performance and profitability.
Because there is great emphasis on the importance of search
engine exposure for internet businesses, many new business owners
set out right away to achieve top listing in the search engines
either through search engine optimization or pay per click
advertising. If you can possibly get a good search engine ranking
through search engine optimization that is fabulous because an
organic listing in a top-ranking position in the search engines
will undoubtedly be a web site traffic promotion move that will
produce vast amounts of free traffic and relative benefits.
However, achieving and maintaining such a ranking is not always
easy, especially if your industry is highly competitive. Business
owners who realize this will often dive right into pay per click
advertising which is, without a doubt, one of the cheapest and
easiest web site traffic promotion methods for getting exposure
to your website quickly.
You’ve heard the old saying, “It takes money to make money”.
While that is true, there are some very inexpensive web site
traffic promotion techniques that you can pursue even when your
budget is tight. Considering costs and effectiveness, a well
managed pay per click campaign is highly effective for instant
results from your web site traffic promotion efforts; however,
link campaigns, distribution of expert articles, participation in
newsgroups, media exposure, and trading banner advertisements are
virtually cost-free. So, it may be beneficial for some internet
businesses to focus their efforts on these low to no cost options
first to get some traffic coming to the website which will result
in revenue generation as well as making it possible to build an
opt-in list of newsletter subscribers for the purpose of email
marketing.
