Marketing
Sunday 28 February 2010 @ 11:40 pm

Each company struggles to lure clients to their merchandise. If you obtain a monopoly or incomparable product your marketing goal is to satisfy your customers desires with your products. These days discovering that monopoly or exclusive agenda is next to impossible, and even if you can obtain it odds are another will duplicate it very instantly.

Wouldn’t it be good if your http://www.brochureprintingandmore.com/”>marketing resources was boundless and you could try it all including the web, print material, television, newspapers, radio..), and you would surely to get great results. Unless your Microsoft, Google or Ebay odds are you don’t have the meanseto do that. The number one thing you must do is characterize who your market is. Do you sell locally, nationally or worldwide. Even if you might sell nationally or globally is it worth it? In order to sell nationally you should have enough resources both financially and in support personnel. Your market is greater than settling just for locally but your competition is usually better as well.

More often we are looking at target market. Identify your market, generate less promotion material but control it to persons who you really have a opportunity to sell your merchandise too. Build a list of potential clients ( using Dunn and Brad Street lists, Yellow Page Lists, Industry Lists, Industry Show lists,…). As soon as you have a list start consolidating a record of potential clients who’d you’d like to market to. Take into concideration Variable Data Marketing plans or direct marketing Email campaigns. Continually try to speak to your customers needs instead of than focusing on your product.

You barely have one opportunity to make a excellent impression. First of all try to offer your potential client a “discount” or “special offer” for them to sample your product. They should have some incentive to seperate you from your competitors. Your good name and reputation are great once when they become existing loyal customers means nothing to a sceptical prospect. Stay away from going the cheap route. Use a quality printing company, create an exciting campaign, consider promotional products, or a professional web presence. Brochure printing or flyer printing has proven to be successful marketing campaigns. You must stand out to make an impression.

Once you get a lead from your campaign, you must service, service, service. As easily as it might have been to get some one interested, it usually is just as easy to lose their business. A dissatisfied customer usually does more harm to your company’s reputation and image than all the good can you acquire from your happy customers.

Voice over Jobs Can Be Great Addition for Your Resume
Wednesday 10 February 2010 @ 3:43 am

Voice Over Jobs

Voice over jobs primarily rely on the talent’s voice. Even though there is much work behind the scenes, it is ultimately the voice over that is known and remembered. It is important to know how to utilize your vocal talents if you plan to work in the voice over area. Depending on the script, you may be called upon to sound soft and aspirational or wry and authoritative. You may need to know how to sound older or younger than you actually are or speak in a certain accent. You may even called upon to speak in a different language. Whatever the style or way of speak, the client is relying on you to deliver the goods and make their script come alive the way they originally envisioned it.

The finest recording engineer in the universe may be able to assist you with mixing and dubbing, but ultimately it falls on you to render the professionalism and vocal skills promised to the client. First, you must have the acting chops to know how to say your lines. Then you have to cultivate on your accents, as well as your inflections. Different words should have assorted emphasis placed on them, but words that are spelled the same may not necessarily have the same inflection when spoken every time. It is important to know this before you get in the booth and begin recording. Otherwise, this can be a waste of the client’s time and put a blemish on your resume.

Postcards
Wednesday 20 January 2010 @ 4:30 pm

Here are a few remarkable points to take into consideration when deciding on a direct mailing advertising plan. Selecting between post cards or enveloped ads is not hard when you analize their own advantages and disadvantages. Which product will work best for your business?

Postcard Advantages:

It’s the naked mail - The client does not have to open it see the advertisement. It’s already open for everyone to see.. If your headline on the postcard is successful, even the postcards that are thrown in the trash directly will still work; effective like a billboard.

Size Matters - Oversized postcards always stand out in the mailbox. It is hard to overlook something twice the size of all the other bills and letters.

The “WOW” feature - Postcards contain relatively lenient postal restrictions compared to a letter. Postcards can be designed to be big and oversized, dazzinling and colorful and LOUD. Whereas, an envelope is restricted on the content that it can show on the outside.

Envelope Mailing Advantages:

Sensitive Advertising: Advertisements based on credit scores, legal information, and medical scores must be restricted inside by an envelope based on privacy regulations.

Blendability: Have you ever opened up a “bill” and read it and halfway down only to realize it was another company trying to get you to sign up for another credit card or to extend your car warranty.

A postcard mailing is always recommended as a form of unsolicited direct mail advertising unless the advertisement is based on private information. Doctors, lawyers, and financial using targeted mailing lists should advertise with a letter.

Back in Time Crib Bedding by Crown Crafts - A Product Review
Thursday 3 July 2008 @ 7:44 pm

Crown Crafts is a well-known and respected crib bedding manufacturer, offering merchandise under several different labels, such as Opbaby!, NoJo, Precious Moments, and Disney Baby. The Back in Time collection, produced under the NoJo label, is a visually stimulating set featuring dinosaurs. Generally retailing for between $140 and $175, this is a great price for the amount of high quality fabrics used in Back in Time.

Back in Time comes as a four-piece crib set with a bumper, dust ruffle, fitted sheet, and quilt. The collection is made from a 65/35 poly/cotton blend. The fitted sheet is available for purchase separately. Matching accessories are available. One notable exception to the industry standard accessories available is a hamper. All of the pieces are machine washable.

The centerpiece of a crib bedding collection is the quilt. The quilt is made using a genuine patchwork design, in which each individual patch is sewn together to create the patches (a sign of higher quality craftsmanship). However, the patches are not “traditionally” put together. There are various sized rectangles in patterned designs used as a backdrop for the embroidered dinosaurs roaming the quilt. The quilt is thicker than most bedding quilts I have seen, which could be a good or a bad thing depending on your tastes. Each of the dinosaurs is made from textured fabrics like velour or terry for a soft feel.

I was pleased to see that Crown Crafts decided to use higher quality woven fabrics throughout this crib set, as opposed to printed fabrics. Woven fabrics begin with individual colored threads that are woven together to create a pattern. Woven fabrics, as compared to fabrics that have a pattern simply printed on the surface of a solid-colored fabric, are much more durable, color-fast, and vibrant.

The bumper is 8.5″ tall with ties on both the top and bottom of the bumper. A minor detail is the bumper is one continual piece, which in some cases could be easier than a multiple pieced bumper, however, it makes washing that much harder. The inward facing bumper is decorated with the same dinosaurs from the quilt to entertain your baby. The outside of the bumper features alternating patterns from the quilt. The dust ruffle has a 12″ drop to finish the look of your nursery. The premium quality woven gingham fitted sheet matches the back of the bumper.

Unfortunately, for Canadian consumers purchasing from a United States online retailer, the Back in Time bedding collection is manufactured in China. Customers in Canada would be required to pay import duties of as much as 18% of the stated prices.

Powerful Strategy to Get More Press and Media Exposure
Friday 30 May 2008 @ 1:04 pm

It is one thing to write a press release based on a certain product or service that you want to attract media coverage for, but it is sometimes quite another to get all the media and press exposure that you desire and may even truly deserve. The more attention you can generate via the press and media the more impact your product or service will have in the marketplace.

The realities of garnering maximum press coverage are that your press release will actually be competing for attention among many other similar and dissimilar press releases at the time of its distribution to the media. Without a clear and workable publicity strategy your chances of attaining tremendous success from press releases are somewhat diminished. In reality it does not have to be that way!

Here is one powerful strategy that we have found to work very well.

Instead of doing a one time single press release to the media, it usually works out much better to plan on doing a series of 2-3 press releases over a period of time, say a time span of about 30-60 days. Each press release can be about the same products, services or company but each press release must take a different slant and presentation angle. Each press release must speak into a different listening audience. Gaining appeal to a different segment of a targeted market is a great idea that works very well for many business products and services.

Frequently we have found that what appears to only be a small and unexpected market segment has many times produced some surprisingly good results.

For instance, a product that was a toy musical glove made an unexpected impact in a very different market segment than what you might intitially expect. This new market segment was achieved using a little extra creativity to target a press release into a different market segment for the product. Thru the use of a well written press release that spoke to a new audience the toy musical gloves ended up being highly publicized in numerous medical journals where it was positioned as a great tool for hand therapy. Imagine that! The result was that there were many new product sales from an unlikely market segment for the product.

Formulating different press releases and then phasing them into the media over a period of 30 - 60 days is a powerful strategy that will help you reach exciting new market segments for products or services that are seeking publicity. The result is that the media coverage received will often times be greatly expanded. When there is an increased number of people exposed to a press and media release campaign the result is usually a geometric increase in sales as traction for the business and the company behind the product or service escalates.

The potential to reap amazing rewards thru publicity is dramatically enhanced when two, three or more unique and well written press releases are distributed to the media within a moderate period of time. A well planned press release strategy can result in free publicity that literally generates millions of dollars in sales.

Points You Must Know Before Launching Any Site Promotion Tool
Monday 21 April 2008 @ 7:16 pm

Most of the times a new website is launched one of the primary objective is to generate revenues or leads from that website. The most commonly adopted strategy to accomplish this is SEO and Link Building.
However in order for any site promotion to be successful the Webmaster must understand website visitors preferences. Only then will the Webmaster be able to enhance revenues from the site.

The Webmaster must undertake real time visitor activity monitoring of his website. The information which a webmaster must have access to is - Who refers most visitors to the website, the keywords being used in search engines to find the site, the country from which most visitors come, web pages through which visitors enter and exit the site.

The Webmaster must understand the visitor behavior of the website and must know the average amount of time spent by visitors on the site. The pages where the visitors spend the least amount of time on the website must be reviewed and improved upon. On the other hand most downloaded files (white papers, brochures etc) should also be understood and improved upon.

The Webmaster must monitor the effectiveness of various search engine promotion programs, and the frequency with which search engines and web crawlers visit the website. If the site caters to visitors from much geography than the site content must be modified to suit the geographical location of visitors
